Compliance status
This website is not compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard. The non-compliances and exemptions are listed below.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.
Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations
There are various contrast failures across our website pages. These fail WCAG 1.4.3 Contrast (Minimum) (AA). We are in the process of changing our colours to ensure contrast passes the requirements.
Some areas of the website are not completable by screen reader users such as the job application forms. This fails WCAG 1.3.5 Identify Input Purpose (AA). We are in the process of fixing this issue to ensure all users can complete the application form. If you need the form in another format please contact us on 01422 357 357.
If a user incorrectly completes the contact us form, there is a visual error message, but this is not read out or focussed to for screen reader users. In addition, fields are not clearly marked as mandatory. This fails WCAG 3.3.1 Error Identification (A) and 3.3.3 Error Suggestion (AA). We are currently in the process of fixing this issue.
Disproportionate burden
At this time, we have made no claims of disproportionate burden.
