All candidates will hear back via phone or letter within 2 weeks of the closing date. At busy periods this may be around 4 weeks.

If you haven’t heard from us within 6 weeks, you should presume your application has been unsuccessful.

Feedback is provided by the recruiting manager/head of panel.

Yes. To ensure consistency and equality of opportunity all candidates have to complete the standard College Application Form.

Yes, all successful candidates have to undergo an enhanced DBS check. Previous disclosure certificates cannot be accepted.

Some job roles require either a presentation or a basic IT test to demonstrate your ability to follow instruction and to gain an understanding of your knowledge level.

Once the post has closed the online system will automatically pull down the advert and as such late applications are not accepted.

If you have applied online you will receive an email confirming receipt of your application.

Due to the large volume of applications we cannot acknowledge all applications however if you submit your application via post and wish to enclose a stamped addressed envelope then we will acknowledge receipt.

We would like to encourage online applications, the internet can be accessed for free at many locations including libraries and the Job Centre. If you would still like to complete a postal application please contact HR.

In some circumstances, we may be able to re-arrange your interview, however, this is dependent upon a number of factors and may not always be possible. You need to contact the HR Unit in this instance.

References will only be requested for the successful candidate.
