Calderdale College is delighted to be launching a brand-new specialist skills facility, The Engineering Centre, in Brighouse. The Engineering Centre has been designed to shape the engineering and manufacturing workforce of the future, and will deliver a range of apprenticeship standards to provide businesses with an effective way to grow talent and develop a motivated, skilled and qualified workforce.
We are recruiting a new team to develop and establish our engineering provision at this new center, which is based just off the M62, making it a very accessible location.
The College is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed individual with an excellent range of Fabrication and Welding skills to join our outstanding team area to deliver and assess learning on our Level 1, 2 and 3 Engineering Study Programmes. Ideally, we are looking for someone with MIG, TIG and MMA welding experience.
This role requires someone who is a dynamic, innovative and creative individual who is willing to turn their hand to different challenges. The ability to influence and motivate students and determination to achieve success in all aspects of the role. You will join the faculty at an exciting time as we deliver a range of innovative projects with employers and the community.
